Thursday, April 11th - Dark Ages Test(Yay!)
It's test time. I've linked review guide below.
Here is a overview of the structure of the test, and what you will need to study:
Format:
i. Multiple Choice ii. Short Answer – basic questions on content iii. Source analysis – you will receive a series of primary sources connected to the topic. You will need to identify, describe and make inferences on them. Your background knowledge will help you. iv. Paragraph question – you will need to present your opinion on a topic(without using the first person) and back it up with evidence.
What to study:
Textbook – pages 38-64 (these pages will be scanned and linked up to the class website)

Monday, April 8th - Help Create Friday's Test by Creating 10 Multiple Choice Questions
Create 10 multiple choice questions on the material you will be tested on.
Include 4 viable options(A,B, C, D)
Include an answer key(you may circle the correct answer)
Make your questions fair – not too easy, not too hard
***If your questions are well written I may use them when I create your test. (Hopefully you get your own question right ).

2) Terracotta Warriors - questions. The reading you need is linked up on the Working with Evidence and Historical Thinking page. *** A quick reminder that you will need to do a bit of research for question 7 which asks you to compare the funeral practices outlined in the article with those of another civilization. You can use a Venn diagram or a chart to compare the two.

Wednesday, February 6th - Return the signed parent form on the back page of the course outline.
Friday, February 9th - Interview Question on "Why Study History" handout.
This is the last question at the bottom of the page: "Ask a parent / guardian / elder / relative to name one historic event that has impacted their lives. Write it down and explain in a few sentences. *****I'm really interested to hear about what you found out.
